VINTAGE

Edwardian Dairy Bowl

£195.00

A good large early twentieth century ironstone dairy pouring bowl with roll-top rim and cupped handle by Grimwade, marked to the base 'The "Grimwade" Safety Milk Bowl patent no. 5381/09 registered shape no. 537320'. Plain, unadorned ironstone pouring bowls with clean-lines and simple forms were part of the everyday 19th and early 20th century dairy. Their purity and functionality is as appealing today as it was then; and they are now very much prized, as they make an arresting addition to the modern home.
