Shouldered Antique Hip Flask

An early twentieth century silver plated, shouldered glass and black leather hip flask with a screw-cap top most likely made by James Dickson & Sons, Sheffield.  The clear glass body is half covered with leather, the lower half has a detachable silver plated EPNS cover that also acts as a cup, as depicted in the further images.

Date of manufacture: c.1900

Materials: electro-plated silver nickel, leather and glass

Condition: good, considering its 120 years of use, with scratch marks and wear to the silver plating, all of which add to its character and reflect its history.
