A very handsome Victorian walking cane with a time-worn cherry wood knopp and a brass ferrule to the tip.

History

A walking cane was an integral part of every well-dressed man's wardrobe in the nineteenth century, and his collection of walking-sticks, canes and umbrellas would be kept just inside the hall in a stand.
