Edwardian Hip Flask

A high-quality Edwardian silver plated, glass and brown leather hip flask with a domed bayonet and hinged top by William Hutton & Sons. The base is stamped "WS & S" for William Hutton & Sons Ltd, and it was most likely retailed at the turn of the 19th century from one of their London showrooms, either in Holborn or Farringdon Road.

The clear glass body is half covered with leather, the lower half has a detachable silver plated cover that also acts as a cup. See images.

Condition: good, considering its 120 years of use, with some very light scratch marks/wearto the silver plating , all of which add to its character and reflect its history.
