Art Deco dressing table
Sold
A striking geometric French Art Deco dressing table of good 1930s design; and similar to designs produced by the king of French Deco cabinet makers, Emile Jacques Ruhlmann, for the English cosmetics retailer Yardley. The dressing table is fitted with a single drawer, under-shelf and full height plate-glass mirror, and is of classic L-shaped Modernist form with curved plinth base. And in true French Art Deco style, it is finished in a macassar-like dark veneer that has a high mirror French polish finish. It would make a purposeful addition to a contemporary bedroom or hallway, for it has a full height mirror and some discreetly elegant storage.
