Victorian Butcher's Scales

A super-large and very handsome set of Victorian butcher's scales with a marble top and ceramic ironstone meat slab. It has a cast iron mechanism brass weighing/weights bowl, and brass central handle - and it is complete with its full set of weights.
It stands on a painted wooden plinth - this, with its original paint - and is in excellent working order and with good balance. The weights are moulded with "Crane Foundry Co Wolverhampton", and consist of: 4lb, 2Ib, 1Ib (x2), 8oz (x2),1/4Ib, 4oz, 2oz, and 1oz.
