A rare 1950s board-mounted botanical learning aid depicting the leaf, root and vascular structures of plants by Norstedt & Soner of Stockholm, Sweden. The fine illustrations range from the soil-based root structures of tap-roots; to the tendrils of tree dwelling climbers, such as ivy; along with the parasitic roots of mistletoe; and are finished in arrestingly muted colours.
