A super large early twentieth century ironstone wash bowl, with turned rim and foot.

Plain, unadorned ironstone wash bowls with clean-lines and simple forms were part of everyday 19th and early 20th century below-stairs life . Their purity and functionality is as appealing today as it was then and  they make an arresting addition to the modern home.

Condition: very good, with two tiny nicks to the rim, yet barely noticeable -see image.
