A beautiful set of 6 antique George V butter knives with solid silver reed border handles and stainless steel blades. Each handle is hallmarked with a lion which denotes its Stirling silver credentials, and with GH - which stands for Harrison Brothers & Howson, Sheffield. Further hallmarks date them as made in 1919.
A plate of good food is lost without a good knife and fork. Well-proportioned, well-balanced and beautifully designed flatware is a joy to use and is the making of a good meal.
