VINTAGE
Architectural Cupola Birdcage
£245.00
An elegant Victorian architectural cupola shaped bird cage with original wiring and painted finish. The base is constructed from wood and supports eight wooden columns which in turn anchor the fine wire cage work - and its dome is topped with a turned finial. The cage is also fitted with a sprung wire hatch for access, and a base that is hinged for cleaning purposes.
It would add a cool decorative statement to any room - just as it is; or use it as you would a frame or display case, to show taxidermy; an egg, feather or shell collection; a bird illustration; or to hold miniature plants or a collection of found objects. A taxidermy crow would look stunning.
