We have just had a delivery of these wonderful French oyster baskets. Constructed from heavy-duty wire and with swing loop handles for carrying, they make a stunning fireside basket for the easy access of kindling or small logs, and are great for holding magazines and newspapers. They can also be used in the garden or shed; lined with moss and planted up, they make the best hanging-basket you ever did see.

Condition: good, with some rust weathering - which adds to the patina and is to be expected from a basket that has spent its life in the sea.  They have a rust finish and there are some traces of red paint.
