Crumb Trays

Edwardian silver-plated crumb trays with ivorine handles

Our vintage ‘bone-handled’ crumb trays are both elegant and functional, and the renewed popularity of dining etiquette make them a stylish addition to today’s table. Much of our cutlery and related table ephemera has ivorine handles and plated silver components and this was made in Sheffield England, once the heart of the world’s flatware industry.

We are selling the crumb trays singularly, so please make your choice in the box below.

Crumb tray A): Length 30cm

Crumb tray B) has a Stirling silver collar: Length 33cm

Country of origin: England

Year of manufacture: c.1920

Material: Silver plate and xylonite

Condition: both have some very slight wear to the silver plating (see images), and some very fine scratch marks to the silver plate - normal for an item of this age.
