A stunning set of Edwardian Salter's family weigh scales in cast iron with a wonderful enamel face, detachable polished steel weighing bowl and with original black painted finish. The white enamel dial is marked "No 50 Salter's Improved Family Scale / To Weigh 14 lb / Manufactured by Geo Salter & Co England ", and the dial divisions are in imperial lbs and ounces. It is rare to find the enamel face in such good condition.
