A very handsome 1940s military heavy-duty engineer's tool box in stripped steel. The box is fitted with two internal rectangular steel trays; twin carrying handles and a hasp for a padlock. Its uses are numerous, and extend from tool storage to artists paints and brushes, to the housing of household items such as scissors, measures and string.
