Victorian Bread Proving Bowl

A very good-looking late nineteenth century bread proving bowl with a cream coloured glazed interior and a deep rolled rim. The delightful glaze smudges on its terracotta exterior add character - and hand-thrown charm. Perfect for the kitchen or the dining table. We think wonderful when filled with vegetables or lettuces.
