Vintage Denby Manor Green 1/4 pint barrel-shaped jug

Manor Green is no longer in production today, yet its classic lines and serene colour have stood the test of time, making it perfect for the 21^st century home. Well designed and extremely practical this range of stoneware china was born in the 1930s; yet it wasn’t until the 1950s that the range was dramatically extended to include new pieces of mid-century design, such as the barrel-shaped sauce jug. The rich glaze and striking simplicity make this jug as relevant today as it was then, and it makes a handsome addition to the kitchen and dining table. Manor Green has proven to be Denby’s classic table china of choice and this vintage range is now much sought after.
