Vintage Manor Green egg cup

Well designed and extremely practical, this egg cup is the perfect holder for your soft-boiled hen's egg. Denby’s stoneware range in Manor Green was born in the 1930s; yet it wasn’t until the 1950s that the range was dramatically extended to include new pieces of mid-century design, such as this smart little egg cup, which also has a handy hole in the base of its cup to allow for easy cleaning. The striking simplicity of its form make it as relevant today as it was then. Manor Green is no longer in production today, yet its classic lines, muted colour and rich glaze have stood the test of time, and it fits comfortably into the 21^st century home. It has proven to be Denby’s classic table china of choice, making this vintage range now much sought after.
