Vintage Denby Manor Green soup bowl with lid and saucer
Well designed and extremely practical, Denby’s stoneware range in Manor Green was born in the 1930s; yet it wasn’t until the 1950s that the range was dramatically extended to include new pieces of mid-century design, such as these cup-shaped soup bowls with lids and stands. Their rich glaze and striking simplicity make them as relevant today as they were then. Manor Green is no longer in production today, yet its classic lines, serene colour and rich glaze have stood the test of time, and it fits comfortably into the 21st century home. It has proven to be Denby’s classic table china of choice, making this vintage range now much sought after.
