Vintage Denby Manor Green hors d'oeuvres dish with handles
Well designed and extremely practical this range of stoneware china was born in the 1930s with some serving dishes bearing the then current jazz-age trend of stepped handles, such as this small serving dish. The rich glaze and striking simplicity make it as relevant today as it was then, and this elegant dish – perfect for nuts, olives, crisps and dips - will add an arresting addition to the contemporary kitchen and dining table.
Rare item
Some shapes ceased production in the 1950s when other more modern designs became the trend; consequently these Art Deco inspired designs along with other earlier pieces are rarer and therefore harder to find. Manor Green has proven to be Denby’s classic table china of choice and this vintage range is now much sought after.
