A Victorian bread board carved with traces of stylised wheat-sheaf motifs, along with "Bread" carved on its border. The board has been much loved, has a wonderful polished patina, and the wheat-sheafs are now but ghosts in the wood.

Condition: there are knife marks across the board - which are part of its joy; and it has a very slight warp (see image), yet this is historical, adds character, and probably happened at the beginning of its life.
