Vintage Denby Manor Green butter pat
Manor Green is no longer in production today, yet its classic lines and serene colour have stood the test of time, and it now fits beautifully into the 21st century home. Well designed and extremely practical this range of stoneware china was born in the 1930s; yet it wasn’t until the 1950s that the range was dramatically extended to include new pieces of mid-century design, such as the butter pat, that can also be used to hold sea salt flakes or cracked pepper. Their rich glaze and striking simplicity make these useful dishes as relevant today as they were then, and they make a handsome and useful addition to the table. Manor Green has proven to be Denby’s classic table china of choice and this vintage range is now much sought after.
