Handmade Dustpan Brush
A traditional bannister brush, handmade in the UK by one of our last surviving brush makers. Crafted from beechwood and two-tone horsehair, the splayed bristles are designed to coax dirt from awkward spaces - and it makes an excellent dustpan brush.
Hair from the mane and the tail of the horse is used extensively in hand made brushes that are plastic free, and the strong tail hair is particularly suited to the making of indoor brooms, hand brushes, and brushes used to clear cobwebs.
