Large Baker's Board
An extra-large rectangular Turkish baker's board with carrying handle and cross baton supports to its underside. Its time-worn surface is still caked with bakery flour, lending it a wonderful chalky patina. Our baker's board would make an excellent communal serving platter for air dried ham, antipasto, breads, cheeses, pickles and bread - and is also excellent in the kitchen when kneading dough or rolling pastry.
Year of manufacture: c.1930
Condition: our boards have all been well used, so they will have knife cuts and scuff marks, small chips to their edges, and could be slightly uneven. However, this all adds to their patina, history and appeal.
