A plate of good food is lost without a good knife and fork. Well-proportioned, well-balanced and beautifully designed flatware is a joy to use and is the making of a good meal. Our vintage ‘bone-handled’ knives are both good-looking and functional, and their renewed popularity make them a stylish addition on today’s table. This set of knives have ivorine handles fashioned from xylonite, and blades made from carbon steel, and was manufactured from the end of the nineteenth century through to the 1920s in Sheffield England, which was then the heart of the world’s cutlery industry.
