Edwardian pub cider mug
£95.00
A rare George V Mochaware Bulmer's half pint cider pub mug, with the royal crest of a unicorn and lion, and "Bulmer's cider by appointment" to the crown represented on both sides of the mug. Made by Pountney & Co. Ltd. of Bristol, Mochaware cider mugs were once common place in late nineteenth century/early twentieth century pubs. The watermark on the side is the stamp for King George V - a crown flanked by the letters G and R, George Rex. These are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and especially in such good condition.
