A collector's honey-gold Polish made teddy bear with an inquisitive yet determined expression dating from the 1950s. So determined, he's fixating on being taken home and loved over Christmas....so he tells us.
He has all the classic Eastern European teddy bear features of the era - with wide face, firm, stocky body and straight limbs. His neat little paw pads were made by reversing the plush fabric of his body and he has glass eyes, painted on the underside to make them amber in colour. His nose and mouth are embroidered and he has a fixed head, with swivel jointing to his arms and legs, and is stuffed with his original wood-wool. Made from a classic shade of gold cotton plush, he has been much loved yet is still in wonderful condition.
