Victorian Mother Of Pearl Parlour Table
A particularly splendid Victorian black laquered wood and papier-mâché tilt-top parlour table. The beautiful ovoid shaped table top is covered in painted abstract florals and inlaid with shards of mother of pearl, and it is hinged, with an under catch, so that it can easily be stored on one side. It is carried on a single turned pedestal with flaring base - both hand painted with faded florals - which is mounted on three metal webbed feet.
