Victorian Tabletop Chest
A pleasingly proportioned Victorian mini chest of drawers with rounded corners and bun feet. Comprising of three long and two short drawers, each retaining its original pair of turned wooden knobs.
Miniature furniture was used by travelling salesman as scaled-down sample pieces of the types of furniture and their finish that could be made back in the workshop. It was also made by apprentices, to showcase their cabinetry skills.

Condition: good condition for its age with some slight damage: one thin strip of veneer is missing from the front; there's some veneer wear along the rear righthand edge return; and a couple small knocks to the veneer bottom front left. See images.
